Chicken Shawarma Pita Pockets

Ingredients
Morning Ingredients:
- 1 T Olive oil
- 2 lbs Boneless skinless chicken thighs
Evening Ingredients:
- 2 tsp Smoked paprika
- 2 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Allspice
- ¼ tsp Cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp Cayenne
- 1 Cucumber
- ½ cup Cherry tomatoes
- 1 Avocado
- 1 Green onion
- Yogurt salad dressing
- Pita bread
Directions
In the Morning:

Place chicken in crock pot and cover with oil.

Turn on low for 6-9 hours.
In the Evening:

Place chicken on cutting board to cool some.

Combine all 7 seasonings in a bowl.

Discard undesired fat on chicken and shred.

Sprinkle chicken with seasoning.*

Peel and slice cucumber into thin slices.

Dice tomatoes and avocado.

Cut pita bread in half.

Place all on table and everyone stuffs their pita pocket as desired.
Recipe Notes
*It may seem like a lot of seasoning, but the flavor dilutes when you add the cucumbers and pita.
