Ingredients
MORNING INGREDIENTS
- 1.5 lbs Roast Beef Lunch Meat
- 1 cup Water
- 1 (1 oz) packet Au Jus Gravy Mix
EVENING INGREDIENTS
- 1 (6 count) bag Hoagie Rolls
- 1/2 cup Spreadable Margarine
- 6 slices Provolone Cheese
- Favorite Canned Or Frozen Vegetables
Directions
MORNING DIRECTIONS

Whisk water and au jus packet in the crock pot.

Add lunch meat making sure meat is covered with au jus sauce.

Turn on WARM* for 2-9 hours . (Higher temps will cook the meat and make it tough.)
EVENING DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to high broil.

Slice rolls in half, spread margarine on one half of roll and place ½ slice of cheese on other half.

Place in oven and broil 2-3 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Heat up your favorite veggies in the microwave or on the stove.

Strain extra au jus sauce from crock pot into individual bowls for dipping.

Use meat to make sandwiches.

Dip sandwiches into au jus sauce as you eat and serve with veggies on the side.
Recipe Notes
*NOTE: Crock pots built after the 1980's run at a higher temperature to ensure the contents stay hot enough to kill bacteria. If your crock pot is older than 1990, do NOT use the warm setting for more than 2 hours. In that case, use the low setting for this recipe.
