These sloppy joes are a quick, easy alternative to browning your meat by hand.  Summer-fun, family pleasing taste in only 10 minutes after a long day of work. 

Servings: 8
Ingredients
MORNING INGREDIENTS
  • 2 lb Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 Bell Pepper
  • 2 T Minced Onion
  • 1 (24 oz) bag Favorite Frozen French Fries
EVENING INGREDIENTS
  • 1 (15 oz) can Favorite Sloppy Joe Sauce
  • 8 Hamburger Buns
  • 1 bag Salad
Directions
MORNING DIRECTIONS
  1. Remove top and seeds from pepper.
  2. Place hamburger, pepper and onion in the crock pot.
  3. Turn on low for 6-9 hours.
  4. Place French fries on a cookie sheet in a single layer.
  5. Place fries in oven on time-bake* according to package directions. Set end time for 5 minutes before you want to eat.
EVENING DIRECTIONS
  1. Put pepper from the crock pot into a food processor and pulse until you have tiny bits.
  2. Add meat and Sloppy Joe sauce.
  3. Pulse just until the meat crumbles.
  4. Make sandwiches and serve with fries and bagged salad.
