These sloppy joes are a quick, easy alternative to browning your meat by hand. Summer-fun, family pleasing taste in only 10 minutes after a long day of work.
- 2 lb Lean Ground Beef
- 1 Bell Pepper
- 2 T Minced Onion
- 1 (24 oz) bag Favorite Frozen French Fries
- 1 (15 oz) can Favorite Sloppy Joe Sauce
- 8 Hamburger Buns
- 1 bag Salad
Remove top and seeds from pepper.
Place hamburger, pepper and onion in the crock pot.
Turn on low for 6-9 hours.
Place French fries on a cookie sheet in a single layer.
Place fries in oven on time-bake* according to package directions. Set end time for 5 minutes before you want to eat.
Put pepper from the crock pot into a food processor and pulse until you have tiny bits.
Add meat and Sloppy Joe sauce.
Pulse just until the meat crumbles.
Make sandwiches and serve with fries and bagged salad.
